Bristol Long graduated from Arcadia University with a BFA in Graphic Design. She minored in political science taking classes focusing on human and international rights. Her personal work is inspired by books, nature, and music as she enjoys researching and finding a story behind her work and illustrations.

Bristol started doing festivals and art events to promote her work. She loves doing commissions of landscapes and pets. One of her most recent commissions, a pet tarantula, became one of her favorites because of her love for spiders and the opportunity to showcase her detailing skills. Her favorite medium to work with is charcoal, but she likes the portability digital has to offer.

After a semester abroad in Ireland, Bristol found herself inspired by traveling. Many of her landscape works are of Ireland and Vermont where she spent a considerable amount of time traveling. 

 

In addition to taking in the beauty of nature through hikes and camping, she also enjoys spending nights in with her two dogs and cat.
